History

The Black Knights were formed in 1998 at a paintball scenario put on at the Camp Blanding MOUT training facility outside of LakeCity, FL. It was during this game that a group of friends who loved paintball decided that they should form a team. After years of planning and playing here and there, the team finally came together in 2003 to get serious about playing scenario paintball. From 2003 to 2009 the Black Knights played in over 50 all weekend scenario paintball games. During those years there were multiple awards, numerous CO and XO jobs, and a good deal of fun.

When the scenario paintball scene began to wind down and it became difficult to even find a good game the Black Knights began looking for other ways to get together and have fun. Competative shooting, backpacking, and other activities joined the list of things the Knights did together, and in early 2010 they decided to take a stab at Airsoft. It didn’t take long before they started making a name for themselves there just as they had in scenario paintball .

Today the Black Knights can be seen at Airsoft Operations around the Southeast a number of times a year, and have been looking to grow the team, keeping the code of Honor-Integrity-Brotherhood as the focus.
