As the lights dimmed, guests enjoyed a candlelit yoga session at the Sky Garden, followed by a sustainable reception at The View. They sipped signature beverages made from mango peel, savored desserts crafted from organic rice, and explored our selection of organic rice supporting local farmers from Amnat Charoen.

We were delighted to join Responsible Travel Meets Green Design: Speaker Series on 30 September 2025, part of Bangkok Climate Action Week 2025, hosted by 137 Pillars Suites & Residences Bangkok with Nida (Natty) Wongphanlert and Fenn Designers’ Lydia Tiasiri.
Bringing together 15+ industry leaders in design, hospitality, and sustainability, the session highlighted how responsible travel can turn values into action. Special thanks to Khun Marisa Sukosol Nunbhakdi for her inspiring opening, Host‑in‑Chief Sanjog Modgil for guiding the discussions, and all distinguished speakers for their insights. We are proud to stand alongside conscious participants and partners in advancing responsible and sustainable travel.
On the day “Hotel Anniversary” so we make a meaningful contribution to the local community and demonstrate a strong commitment to sustainability and social responsibility by support the local community and improve the well-being of the people in the area. Renovating the Bonkai pre-school Child Care, a non-profit school serving more than 20 children.

On July 29, 2025, AWC and its affiliated hotels – including The Athenee Hotel, Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park, Bangkok Marriott Hotel The Surawongse, and Le Méridien Bangkok – partnered with SOS Thailand for the AWC Be Better x SOS: Zero Waste Food Mission. Surplus food was transformed into ready-to-eat meals, delivering nourishment to over 400 households in Ban Mankong Suan Phlu, while advancing AWC’s 3BETTERs sustainability vision: Better Planet, Better People, Better Prosperity.
Celebrating Thai Soft Power at The Athenee Hotel
From 11–15 July 2025, The Athenee Hotel, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Bangkok proudly hosted THACCA’s SPLASH Soft Power Showcase, spotlighting Thailand’s rich culture and creativity. The VA Drawing Room became a vibrant hub with live art by Chubbybrushh, Thai silk from Lamphun Thai Silk, and a lively street market by Sookjai Market, all under the theme Rare and Indigenous.
Embracing the values of World Food Day, The Athenee Hotel, Bangkok proudly joined hands with the Bangkok Community Help Foundation to prepare and pack 300 lunch boxes for underserved communities.
Through the Marriott Business Council Bangkok’s collaboration with Serve360, this initiative provided us the opportunity to give back to the community. Led by Khun ChooLeng G., Khun Wachira Suppasiripong, Khun Wiranya Manasirisuk, and hotel representatives, our team came together with BCHF to address hunger and promote sustainable food security.
