KATELYN SMITH
Katelyn is a visual artist and educator, who currently resides in Baltimore, MD. She grew up in Germantown, MD and graduated from Towson University in 2011 with a Bachelor's Degree in Art Education (Pre-K). She furthered her education by obtaining a Masters Degree in Curriculum & Instruction from McDaniel College, and most recently a Post-Baccalaureate certificate in Arts Integration from Towson University in 2023. Katelyn is certified to teach in the state of Maryland, and an active member of both the National and Maryland Art Education Association. Katelyn's passion is truly in teaching children all about art! She enjoys experimenting with many different mediums such as mosaics, paint, and ink. While also teaching, she is apart of a MDAA (Maryland Artist Anonymous group) which includes visual art educators who teach in Anne Arundel County (AACPS). If she is not teaching or creating Art, you can find her cheering on the Baltimore Orioles!
Prints of my most recent work will be forthcoming in the future and sold on my Etsy site, if interested. Below are links to my personal art instagram site, Etsy Shop (under revision), and Artsonia site for teaching.
