If you are an Arivaca resident (in the townsite or surrounding hills) and you are already growing pollinator-friendly plants in your home garden, or want to start, we welcome you to join the Arivaca Pollinator Pathway Project's FREE Home Gardener Program!
All participants will receive a free, colorful Pollinator Pathway Project sign for your property (see design below), a free pollinator-friendly plant, free flower seeds, and a lapel button to show your support for pollinators to others!
There are 3 easy ways to add your garden to the Arivaca Pollinator Pathway:
Visit the Caviglia- Arivaca Library during open hours to complete a registration form, and turn it in at the front desk (takes only 5 minutes to do);
OR
Send us an email at arivacapollinatorpathway@gmail.com and request a registration form. Print, fill it out, then drop it off at the library next time you visit.
OR
Visit the Pollinator Pathway Project display during some of Arivaca's community events, complete a registration form, and turn it in there!

A few examples of pollinator-friendly plants you may already have growing in your garden:
Any species of Milkweed (Asclepsias)
Any species of Sage (Salvia) shrub, IE: blue, white, red
Any species of Penstemon
Honeysuckle, Trumpet, or Cross Vine
Herbs such as Rosemary, Oregano, Sage, Thyme, Cilantro, Mint, etc.
Sunflowers, Zinnia, Cosmos, Marigolds, etc.
Succulents and cacti such as Agave, Prickly Pear, Yucca, Barrel Cactus, Aloe, etc.
