The ARC Foundation was established shortly after the bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in 1995. Immediately after the blast, Oklahomans came together in massive numbers to help those affected by the unspeakable tragedy. Inspired by the outpouring of generosity a group of friends started developing programs to improve the lives of disadvantaged Oklahomans. After repeated requests by numerous community leaders, the ARC began deliberations to legally formalize the organization in late 2010. The ARC received its 501(c)(3) non-profit determination in 2014.
In the wake of Hurricane Michael, The ARC Foundation grew into the Florida panhandle in 2019, seeking to help connect schools, community members, and local entities for a stronger future.
