Library Rules

Try to refrain from shouting and extremely loud noises, especially when others are reading and working. 

Eat and drink is only allowed in specified areas. 

Please keep the Library Circulation Only books in the library, these are not for borrowing outside of the library. 

Leave shoes at the front door so that we can keep our carpet clean and beautiful. 

If feeling under the weather or showing any signs of sickness please refrain from attending the library/events so as not to spread illness. 

Please encourage children to tidy the playroom before leaving and to put any toys that need to an extra washing into the "Disinfect" bucket. 

If you utilize any dishes in the kitchen please dispose of them properly so they can be cleaned. Please dispose of all trash in the proper trash recepticals. 

This is a safe space for Muslim women and children, please knock before entering and announce yourself when entering the space. 

Leave bags, coats, and other personal items on hooks and in cubbies at the front entryway. 

No pets allowed. 

When entering please close door tightly behind you to keep our space safe and secure for children playing and reading in the library. 

Do not tap or knock hard on the windows. 

Children should be supervised when in the Library. You do not need to stay in the same room that your child is reading or playing but you should be reachable in the event of an emergency. 

Please be timely when returning books, the late fee is a dollar a day. You cannot checkout books if you have 10+ of late fees. We will put your account on hold and you will not be able to check out any books until the fees are paid. 

In order to check out books you will need a membership to the library and will need to sign up for your library account in person. 

Do not disturb any individuals if they are praying in the library. Please look and listen out for those around you that might be making prayer.
