The Aim Project is committed to tackling education inequality among prospective High School students in New York City public schools. There is a dire need for diversity in the city's top public schools and we hope to address this issue. The first step is education. Our goal is to ensure that all middle-schoolers have an equal opportunity when taking the Specialized High School Admissions Test, or the SHSAT.
WHO ARE WE?
The Aim Project was founded in 2019 by students at the Bronx High School of Science who were disturbed by the lack of diversity at their high school. They hoped to provide a resource accessible to all teenagers applying to Specialized High Schools, and thus the Aim Project was born!
Our team is made up of veteran test-takers who currently attend high school in New York City.
We proudly serve Black, Hispanic, and Indigenous 7th graders from around New York City! If you meet the eligibility criteria and do not have test preparation resources at your disposal, we invite you to sign up for our free SHSAT tutoring services.
