Agile Lens aims to provide the highest quality training in an engaging, professional and ethical manner. The following are our training terms of service. By registering for the training, you agree to abide by them.
PAYMENTS
Payment is due one week prior to the scheduled training if booked more than one week prior to the event. If the event is booked within one week of the training, payment is required in full.
REFUNDS
No refunds are provided on payments unless the class is cancelled due to a lack of registered students (see below cancellation policy).
SUBSTITUTIONS
All registrations are transferable without penalty. Please inform us within 24 hours of class start date if transferring your registration to someone else.
CANCELLATIONS
From time to time a public class may not have enough registered students to be viable. To make this class viable, we require at least 4 participants. As such, Agile Lens may cancel a planned class at any time. If a class is canceled by Agile Lens, participants will receive a full refund of their purchase price, or an alternate date can be agreed upon. No further compensation will be provided.

Simone Craig is the principal consultant of Agile Lens.
Knowledgeable in Kanban, Scrum and SAFe, Simone has experience in the agile transformation of small and large organizations and coaches teams to adopt agile thinking and culture.
Simone is also a Professor teaching agile courses at the post-secondary level and a published author. Her first book, Agile Coaching and Transformation was released in 2024. Teaching and transmitting knowledge is her passion!

What is Kanban?
Kanban is a method that allows you to manage knowledge work. It uses principles and practices that guide you in managing and improving work with the help of Kanban boards that allow you to visualize your work and its flow and Kanban Systems that control the work in progress to ensure work flows smoothly.
This class is suited for individuals who would like to learn about the foundational background of The Kanban Method. By completing this course, students will understand the core concepts of The Kanban Method, will be able to design a Kanban system to improve visibility, communication, and collaboration within their team.

Prerequisite: None
Part 2 of the KMP certification. In Kanban Systems Improvement, students will learn how to manage and optimize systems using metrics and evolutionary change. By completing this course, students will lean how to proactively discover sources of delay, variability and bottlenecks and apply techniques to improve or smooth the flow of work.
Duration: 16 hours
Prerequisite: Kanban System Design
This course introduces the principles of Kanban for a team to get started or for the complete team to get the appropriate exposure to be effective within a Kanban system.
