The Row

The Row is a series of three homes forming a cul-de-sac at the end of Ashwood Circle just outside the Chicago city limits. The neighborhood is far enough from the nearest police station that even if it weren't for the magic woven into the fabric of it that keeps people's minds from sticking to this place, most wouldn't bother to call about the occasionally suspicious activity that goes on here. The houses are older and in varying states of repair due to regular...incidents, although they look a bit rougher from the outside than they actually are. 

Most rooms are fitted to house at least two occupants, and the basements of all three homes are finished and have been dug out until they connect to each other. The connected basements hold a study area and small book collection, an armory and training area, and cells to keep captured creatures in until they can figure out what to do with them. Or for those who have monthly...needs. They also have couches, chairs, and desks dotted around for those who are reading or studying. 

Sometimes the basement becomes a hive of activity and community, other times it is empty other than the sounds that come from the thick-walled room that holds the cells.
