League Guide & Facts

• The second tier of Bulgarian Football

• 16 teams

• Teams play each other twice (30 games)

• 3 points for a win, 1 for a draw

Promotion

• Top 2 teams promoted 

• third place playoff against team from higher division

Relegation

• Bottom 2 relegated to unplayable regional leagues

Other

• The match squad must have no more than 1 non-EU player

• There must be at least 2 under-21 Bulgarian players in the starting eleven. (Born after 1/1/1999)

• Under-21 players are automatically eligible to play in all matches.

• Ludogorets II are unplayable due to being a reserve team

• Turkey

• Romania

• Serbia

• Greece

*As always this is only a suggestion, the leagues listed are in order of importance, feel free to run as many or as little leagues as you think your system can handle.  The setup above gives a nice regional feel.  

It is advisable however to run as many top tier leagues of major nations as you can to keep the continental club competitions competitive
