1. Our Commitment to Privacy

The Zebra Insurance App is built to help you learn about car, home, renters, life, and business insurance with a simple, focused experience. We designed this app so you can explore coverage types, comparison guides, and saving tips without creating an account, without signing in, and without sharing your personal contact details with us. Protecting your privacy is a core principle of this product.

This app is an independent informational guide and is not affiliated with any insurance company or brand. It does not sell insurance or provide real quotes.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit any of the following from you as an app user:

• Your name

• Your phone number

• Your email address

• Your home or mailing address

• Your date of birth

• Government identifiers (SSN, ID numbers, etc.)

• Photos, contacts, or camera data

• Precise GPS location

• Payment or banking details

• Insurance documents or policy numbers

No sign-up, login, OTP verification, email verification, social login, or registration is ever required to use the app.

3. Information Stored On Your Device

Insurance guides, tips, and educational content included in the app are provided as built-in local data. You can use the app fully offline after installation.

The only preference saved on your device is your chosen appearance (light or dark mode), stored locally using DataStore. This is not uploaded to our servers and is not linked to your identity.

We do not build a personal profile, search history log, or usage account about you.

4. Internet and App Content

Insurance guides, tips, and educational content are stored inside the app and can be read offline. An internet connection is required to load advertisements through Google AdMob. We do not require an online account to use the app.

5. Sharing Content From Your Device

If you use your device's standard share, screenshot, or screen-recording tools outside this app, that action is handled entirely by your device and operating system. We do not receive copies of shared content unless you explicitly send it to us through a contact channel you choose.

6. Advertising (Google AdMob)

We use Google AdMob to display advertisements inside The Zebra Insurance App. AdMob is a third-party advertising service operated by Google LLC.

Types of ads shown:

• Banner ads — displayed above the bottom navigation bar on main screens

• Interstitial ads — full-screen ads shown when you open an insurance category or quote guide

To serve ads, Google AdMob and its partners may collect:

• Your device's advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID)

• General device information (device model, OS version, language, screen size)

• Coarse, non-precise location derived from your IP address

• Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks, and views)

You can control personalized advertising: Android Settings → Privacy → Ads → Reset or delete advertising ID / opt out of personalized ads.

7. Third-Party Services

This app does not connect to insurance carriers or quote providers to collect your personal information. The only third-party service integrated into the app is Google AdMob for advertising.

8. Cookies and Tracking

The app itself does not use browser cookies. Google AdMob uses SDK-level identifiers for ad delivery, frequency capping, reporting, and fraud prevention. We do not operate our own cross-app tracking or analytics SDK separate from AdMob.

9. Network and Permissions

The app requests only:

• Internet access — to load advertisements

• Network state — for reliable ad delivery

• Advertising ID — used by Google AdMob for ad serving

We do not request access to contacts, photos, camera, calendar, SMS, microphone, biometric authentication, or precise location. There is no sign-in or account permission prompt when you open the app.

10. Data Security

Because we do not collect personal information or account credentials, there is no personal login profile that can be compromised on our servers. Your appearance preference remains on your device unless you clear app storage.

You can clear all locally stored data at any time through your device settings.

11. Children's Privacy

This app is intended for general audiences who want to learn about insurance topics. It does not require personal information from children or adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.

12. Your Choices and Rights

Because we do not collect identifying information about you, there is no personal account or profile to delete on our side. You can fully reset your app data by uninstalling the app or clearing app storage:

Settings → Apps → The Zebra Insurance App → Storage → Clear storage

Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored preferences.

13. Changes to This Policy

If this policy is updated, the revised version will be available within the app on this screen. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
