The Geneva Mystery

Paul Temple has been asked by a Mrs Milbourne to investigate the mysterious circumstances surrounding the supposed death of her husband Carl Milbourne in a car accident in Switzerland.

3: A Note for Danny
Danny Clayton offered to tell Mrs Milbourne where her husband was in return for £ 5,000, the money to be delivered to a houseboat on the Thames. When Paul Temple, who had arranged to hand over the money to Clayton. arrived at the houseboat. he found a dead body and a book-called 'Too Young To Die.'

An attempt was made to shoot Paul Temple as he and Steve were out on a sleigh ride. Later, when they were on their way to visit Julia Carrington , they found a man almost buried in the snow - it was Vince Langham , who had been stabbed.

His widowed sister Margaret is increasingly convinced that her husband is still alive - and she wants Paul Temple to investigate! Paul and Steve find that their own lives are soon in danger as they become embroiled in a deception stretching from London to Switzerland.
