Senior Farewell Letter From Editors
By Karina Arciniegas, Cynthia Mazariegos, & Arlette Lopez-Torres
Class of 2021, the gifted students of Uni and the future pioneers of the world, we finally made it. Despite not predicting the junior and senior years we have had, we survived. As we have journeyed through different grades we were told that these last four years would go by fast, and they did. In these four years, we have grown and surpassed many challenges, not just academically. We have made many friendships and met various teachers. We have encountered loss and wins. We have laughed and we have cried. Whether or not we have had the pleasure to meet, we know that in these four years with these individuals, we have had the opportunity of a lifetime to make memories, share laughs, and learn from each other. Whether it was on campus or behind the screen, we had each other’s backs to complete our tasks and earn our grade. Most of all, we have been through a pandemic in our final year and a half. We are not only bearing the title of 2021 graduates but also of students who pushed through isolation and who survived their own obstacles along the way.
The things we have encountered and learned in high school, whether good or bad, will definitely carry on to our next journey. These experiences in the four years have shaped us and there is no time to look back and get stuck with our past mistakes. It is time to move forward and be open to new beginnings. The only time you should look back at your mistakes is to remind yourself that you have flourished against many obstacles and that you can flourish through many more. Soon will come a time to flourish beyond what expectations are and become a better version of ourselves, a version that seems fit to you and you only. We have grown out of Uni and we will continue to grow as we take our individual paths to our innumerable goals and dreams. This class will be great out there, it will just take a matter of time and adapting with the changing world. Remember to take it one step at a time.
Now the time has come to say goodbye. A journey of four years has come to an end and we must venture out into the world. Yet this new life milestone we are soon to surpass won’t be the end, but the beginning of many things that await each and every one of us. No matter what path we all are taking, we know we all are going to be okay. It may not seem like it for everyone right now, but whatever path we follow, we will end up where we are meant to be. Congratulations Class of 2021! We are wishing each and every one of you nothing but the best and success!!
Our best regards,
Karina, Cynthia, and Arlette
