The current events about the War on Drugs have made an uproar among Filipinos all over the country, especially those who have encountered and are affected by the rapid increase in drug addicts. The societal impact of this ongoing battle has reverberated through communities, leading to widespread fear and concern about the future.

Many families have been torn apart, and some individuals have experienced the harrowing grief of losing their loved ones to drug-related violence or addiction. The emotional toll on these families is profound, as they navigate the complexities of grief, loss, and the struggle to understand how this epidemic has infiltrated their lives. For some, the anguish is compounded by the grim reality that they might have also become entangled in drug abuse themselves, leading to a cycle of despair that is difficult to escape.

It is undeniable that drugs have changed people in our country, affecting not only individuals but also entire communities. Neighborhoods that were once vibrant have been transformed into areas marked by fear and uncertainty, as drug-related activities take a heavy toll on local safety and well-being.
