Rob Cosgrove has been writing, teaching, performing and producing comedy for over 23 years. When not on-stage Rob can be found listening to 80’s music and playing digital Munchkin on Steam. During, pre, and post Munchkin games, Rob is probably taking classes or writing comedy at the The Second City Training Centre. If none of the above applies, you might find him improvising with The Unscripted Theatre or at home deciding which wrestling t-shirt accurately reflects his mood today.

In 2019, Jen Blum was captivated by the infectious joy her daughter found in improv, and decided to dive into the world of spontaneous comedy herself. Under the guidance of Rob Cosgrove, a Second City alumnus, Jen honed her skills in both improv and the art of amateur villainy. Her performances are a blend of quick wit and playful mischief, but her talents extend beyond the stage.

By day, Jen is a dedicated elementary school teacher and behavior specialist, where her improv training proves invaluable in navigating the unpredictable landscape of young minds. Her ability to think on her feet and embrace the “YES, AND?” philosophy enriches her teaching and keeps her classroom dynamic and engaging.

At home, Jen shares her life with her tech-savvy husband Matt and their two cats, Bunsen and Beaker, who are known for their mischievous antics and self-proclaimed villainy. Matt and their daughter Emily are the behind-the-scenes tech wizards for The Unscripted Theatre, while their other daughter, Leah, is a fellow player that makes appearances when she's in Northern VA.
