The Torch is a worship and teaching event designed to encourage Christians and non-Christians alike all around the Puget Sound area and to speak life and love on the UW campus. It is a time for worship, prayer, learning, and questions for all who desire to hear and participate. 

A few months ago, the Holy Spirit laid a desire to have a worship event somewhere in the greater Seattle area on the hearts of a couple Northwest University students. Since then, this desire has grown into a collabrative effort centered on the UW Campus. Always led by prayer and the Holy Spirit's guidance, The Torch has grown into a full-scale ministry, and we cant wait to see the fruit that will come from it.

In December of 2023, we held our first night of prayer, worship, and teaching. Students from UW, Northwest University, and all over Washington State came to worship and praise our Lord! We have heard story after story of the Holy Spirit leading people to the event and saw people come off the streets to listen and see what we were doing. Since that evening, we have seen similar worship events popping up across UW and the surrounding area. We cannot wait to see what will come next! 

The Torch is happening on Friday, October 25th @4:00pm. The event will be held at Gas Works Park in the covered area near the main entrance:
