First, click on the links below to observe three pictures then try to identify the functions our teeth play in each picture. Write the functions in your notebook.
Secondly, click on link to the video below to watch a video describing the structure of a tooth. After watching the video, complete the live worksheet.
Thirdly, click on the link below to view an image of the 4 types of teeth.
Next, form small groups of 3. Choose a type of teeth then watch the video below. As the video is playing, record the information given on your chosen type of teeth (appearance, location, function). Use the link below to access the google docs table to record your information in. As there are 3 students in your group, one student can focus on recording the appearance, another focus on the location, and the last student, the function. Decide among yourselves who will do what.
Use the internet to research the difference between permanent and temporary teeth as well as ways we can care for our teeth. You can click on the images below to help you.
Lastly, you will use the live worksheet to test your new knowledge.
