Essen City: Capital of the Sun Republic. Founded in April of 2011 as a seat to the Duskiean Empire. Essen City was awareded federal crown city on 20 May 2017, establishing it as the seat of the federal republic and subsequently became the most important city in the Sun Republic.

New Munich: Second largest city in the Sun Republic. The city was first settled in August of 2023, but was officially recognised by the federal government in December of the same year. New Munich was established as a subject city on 14 February 2024, awarding it legal status as a city of the republic. 

Now-Land(s): The "Now-Lands" are a collection of non-contiguous territorial claims which, in junction with each other, act similarly to a proper city of the republic. The Now-Lands are not officially recognised as a city by the government of the Sun Republic, however, they are afforded much of the same legal status as Essen City and New Munich. The Now-Lands were legally recognised on 30 January 2024.
