Southern Salt, Water, and Kidney Society

The Southern Salt, Water, and Kidney Society is dedicated to advancing our understanding of kidney function, kidney disease, the impact of kidney disease on extrarenal tissues, and the advances in the treatment of kidney disease.  The society sponsors the longest continuously active nephrology research meeting in the United States.  

The 2025 Southern Salt, Water, and Kidney Society meeting will start the morning of Thursday, December 4, and the concluding banquet is scheduled for the evening of Saturday, December 6.  There is also a welcome reception on Thursday evening.  As in past years, all presentations will be given as 15-minute oral presentations, with 10 minutes between talks for discussion.  There is also substantial time between the sessions to facilitate your discussions with the other attendees.

 We’re pleased to announce that the website for submitting your proposed talk titles is now live.  The URL is https://forms.office.com/r/9zFUrSDyz2?origin=lprLink.  The site will be open through Friday, October 3, at 5 PM EST.  Please submit your titles as early as you can.

Also, the room reservation link for the Lido Beach Resort is now active, and it gives you a substantial discount over the usual rates.  Its URL is Lido Beach Resort 2025 SSWKS Room Reservations.  Please make your reservations early.  We’d hate it if you weren’t able to get a room at the Lido Beach Resort because all rooms had been taken.
