The Spreker & Psycho Show is building a whole new way for the watch community to learn, laugh, and level up through a growing lineup of hands‑on watch workshops. From true beginner classes where you learn how to open your very first caseback without fear, all the way to advanced modding sessions for the brave souls ready to tackle bezels, crystals, movements, and more. Each workshop is a chance to hang out with the crew, meet fellow enthusiasts, and get real-time guidance from an expert watchmaker, TickTockDoc, who somehow manages to teach, troubleshoot, and crack jokes all at the same time. Whether you’re upgrading a Casio Duro, building a custom Mod, or diving into deeper technical skills, every session is designed to be fun, supportive, and packed with “aha!” moments.
The goal is simple: bring people together, share knowledge, build confidence, and help the community create awesome custom watches... one workshop, one laugh, and one sapphire crystal at a time.
A Triumph of Tools, Chaos, and Questionable Decisions
The first-ever Spreker & Psycho Show Watch Upgrade Workshop is officially in the books, and what a beautiful disaster it was. Against all odds (and several laws of physics), "almost" every single participant walked away with a completed watch, a few new skills, and at least one story they’ll be telling for years.
Let’s take a moment to honor the unforgettable cast of characters who made this workshop the masterpiece it became:
Billybob: A pioneer in the field of “creative adhesives,” Billybob successfully converted his double‑sided tape into what can only be described as a gum‑like stress wad. Revolutionary? Maybe. Useful? Absolutely not. Entertaining? 100%.
Gary8497: Gary went full demolition mode, blowing out his inner crystal gasket and twisting his watch stem into a modern art sculpture. It was bold. It was chaotic. It was… honestly impressive.
Jlaw: Our brave traveler who wandered deep into Stem Hell, and after what felt like three presidential administrations, he finally freed the stem and emerged victorious. A true hero’s journey.
Spreker: In classic form, Sprek confidently messed up the strap sizes like it was part of the curriculum. "Opps"
Psycho: Delivered a passionate, unprompted dissertation on the intricacies of caseback removers. Was it necessary? No. Was it long? Yes. Did we all learn something? Also yes.
Ashish: The over‑achiever of the group, aiming for an A+ in a class with no grades. If enthusiasm were graded, he’d be valedictorian.
DMDM: Despite not being able to see a damn thing, DMDM finished his watch flawlessly. A true inspiration to anyone who has ever squinted at a tiny screw and whispered, “Where the hell did that go?”
Tyler & DavesSales: These two quietly ripped through the workshop like seasoned pros. No drama. No chaos. Just pure, efficient watch‑building energy.
Alec (TickTockDoc): The glue holding this circus together. Alec guided the entire band of lovable idiots to the finish line with patience, skill, and the calm of a man who has seen far worse.
In All Seriousness…
This workshop was everything we hoped it would be - fun, chaotic, educational, and full of community energy. Thank you to everyone who showed up ready to learn, laugh, and dive into the world of watch modding with us.
We’re grateful for your time, your trust, and your willingness to embrace the madness.
With appreciation, mischief, and quartz‑powered love,
Spreker, Psycho & TickTockDoc
