Are you bored putting the same makeup to your sim's outfits just because your sim doesn't have the makeup you want in other outfits? Well, here's a text tutorial for lazys (and others too) on how to give your sims the same makeup that they have in Everyday!

Makeup CC is very underrated, in comparison to hair or clothes custom content, at least. If you really want to exceptionally personalize your Sims, you've got to try these makeup CC packs that Snootysims has for you today. The list includes eyeshadows, eyeliners, highlighters, lipsticks, and all kinds of blush and contour!

For a different, halloweeny look, try this makeup cc pack by Peachfaerie. It works on Sims of all ages, from teen to elder. Included in this set are eyeliners, eyeshadows, face tattoos, and lipsticks. Have fun!

What did you think? Skin details and makeup CC can add so much to a Sim's general look and feel. I think I've only realized this late, but as the saying goes, better late than never. If you're looking for some skin details and body CC, definitely check out SnootySims' main collection here.

For some reason makeup isn't copying to other outfits.

Everyday 1 to Everyday 2 works but Everyday 1 to Formal 1 doesn't work.

Back when the game first came and even a while back this used to work. The makeup would be copied from the most base outfit you had created to the rest of the outfit categories but now I have to constantly redo the makeup?

You create everday 1 makeup then open formal for the first time for a new sim in CAS then the Everday 1 makeup will be copied (or whatever Everday you had last opened before opening formal for the first time

I would actually prefer that certain features get copied to all outfits, not only hair. Like, if my sim wears certain little earrings, I want them to wear them in all outfits. So in each single outfit I have to zoom to the head, click the accessories, click the earrings, scroll to find them, choose the color and click. If they were transferred and I wouldn't want them, I'd just zoom on the head and click the little red cross on the accessory symbol. That would be way more intuitive and way less effort. I would also like to have makeup transferred, and I really don't understand why toddlers wear glasses in their sleep outfit, or why you can wear glasses to sleep at all, but not earrings...

I have had the makeup artist leave after getting to the studio. The makeup artist spawned with all the other sims at the usual spawn point, went to the makeup chair and then ran to the studio gate and left (disappeared). I was stuck for a while since I couldn't complete the task. But, at least, she did eventually come back but spawned outside the gate and had to make her way back to the chair. It took long enough that I ran out of time and wasn't able to complete all the gig tasks so I didn't get gold that time. It's happened twice with the makeup artist but the 2nd time she just ran to the gate and then came right back and I was able to complete all the gig tasks with a little time left over. It's also happened the once with the wardrobe guy but he just ran to the gate and got back to his place in time so it wasn't a problem. He didn't disappear.

I'm not very active here, please if you need to contact me do it via Twitter! 28 / She-Her / ArgentinaWCIFF Look at me! Makeup Collection (4 eyeshadows+2 eyeliners)Hello cuties!! You can now click on the Action menu and then Instant Makeup to apply makeup directly on your Sim ! You can use both Mods Object & Sim Menu or just one or the other.

MAC Cosmetics has responded after customers raised issue with the recent release of a Sims 4 eyeshadow palette. Debuting on Jan. 4, the palette was tied to an in-game collaboration between The Sims 4 and MAC Cosmetics, which allows players to create looks for their Sims using MAC makeup. However, after the palette was released, Sims fans took issue with the chosen colors and the fact that the palette, which is currently no longer available, was a previous MAC release.

As some makeup-focused social media accounts had noted, and as a description for the palette read, the collection of shadows was the Solar Glow Times Nine palette. The Sims-focused rebrand was a U.S.-only release, and as of Wednesday, January 6, the palette is no longer available.

When the palette was announced on Monday, some on social media had reacted unfavorably, tweeting, "What's funny is it's just the box the pallete [sic] comes in with the sims logo on it yall reselling an old pallete and calling it a collab. Wheres the integrity" and "The Sims x Mac palette is so sad. The palette itself is lacking any Sims branding. The name of the shadows don't reference The Sims 4 at all." Over on Instagram, one user applauded the palette, but reacted unfavorably to The Sims branding, saying "This is a gorgeous neutral palette but really misses the mark on the Sims brand... nothing about this feels Sims inspired." In a YouTube review, ItsmeTroi pointed out that the colors were "muted" and "neutral," and that game comes with a lot more color.

MAC Director of Makeup Artistry Romero Jennings, had told NYLON more about the specific colors selected, saying, "MAC and The Sims have similar values since we create for all skin tones. These shades are flattering in person and online. During New York quarantine, I realized that color and highlight are important when creating a flattering, virtual makeup. This palette has both, and is easy to use."

When The Sims debuted in 2000, you could build over-the-top mansions and start a whole neighborhood of your own but you couldn't really customize your Sims that much. Sure, they could have the same hair color as you, but that was about it. Now, however, things have changed and beauty behemoth MAC Cosmetics is joining forces with The Sims 4 to bring full-on, customizable makeup looks to your Sim friends.

As noted by Allure, MAC's director of makeup artistry, Romero Jennings, has designed 12 makeup looks for The Sims 4: eyeliner, eyeshadow, lips, and cheeks. Your Sims can boldly go where no Sims have gone before: to the MAC makeup counter! According to a press release shared by the brand, with the collab MAC has become the "first-ever makeup brand available in the game."

Players can mix and match makeup looks for a style that's all their own. "We wanted to make it easy for players to develop their Sims look on-screen and then replicate them in real life," Romero shared. "The goal is for this to be as fun for you to mix and match as it was for me to create." Now, how do you say, "Please pass the lipstick" in Simlish?

After the time has passed come back and click the exclamation mark above your sims head to find one of the make up collectibles. Every time your sims complete this hobby their hobby skill level up percentage will increase, once you reach 100% you will level up, there are 6 levels. You need to reach level 6 to be able to unlock all of the make up collectibles, once unlocked you will be able to find them.

The next table shows you for each level what make up collectibles you unlock (so you can then find those ones too) and also the level up reward that a second and future sims will receive when they level up in this hobby:

You can now complete the collection!1LPNOTE: only the first sim completing this hobby needs to get to level 6 to unlock all the collectibles, future sims will be able to find any collectible even if they are only on level 1 in this hobby

For the make up artist hobby it shows you can do it in a neighbors town, but it requires two sims to do it so how is it possible to do it there when you can only have one Sim in a neighbors town at a time?

I started the challenge yesterday and already have 3 sims at fashion hunter level 5. I have collected all but 2 of the collectibles (i.e., all of the collectibles for levels 1-5) without spending a single LP. I really hope this works for someone else, too! Good luck ?

Do both sims level up in the hobby or is it just the one doing the make up tutorial? Like how in the salsa dancing one, both sims earned % toward the next level even though one was responsible for initiating it?

Thanks. I was working on unlocking all the makeup looks in this hobby when my game crashed and I had to restart so unfortunately it will be a while before those are posted! But all mall items you unlock from the store can be found in this post: -sims-freeplay-guide-to-the-mall/

Unfortunately while I was completing this after I made this post the game I was completing this on crashed and I lost all my progress, I am currently trying to find all the makeup looks now on my other game but it takes ages, I will update this post as soon as I have them all. ff782bc1db
