The Sigma section is a student-run organization that operates within NTK, The Student Union of Natural Sciences and Technology. As with every "section", Sigma is specific to a subset of all students under the Faculty of TekNat at Umeå University. Sigma strives to improve education, social life and career networks for the students.

All students in these categories are under Sigma:

• Civil engineering  programmes in Biotechnology and Technical Chemistry

• Bachelor programme in Life Science

• Master students of pharmacy, chemistry, molecular biology and plant and forest biotechnology

• Apothecary programme and Bachelor programme in Pharmacy

•  Standalone students of these above mentioned curriculums.

Otherwise, you can ask us in the board if there are any positions vacant. You, as a member, is always welcome to join the board meetings and we strongly encourage you to contact us if you want to discuss something!
