My name is Skye Bailer, I live in a small town in Northern Alberta. I'm a full-time everything - I work full-time, I study full-time, and most importantly, I mom full-time to a beautiful 2 year old, Elizabeth, and two moose-sized dogs (Sam and Boog) plus we're expecting! ...another puppy... To get away from my busy full-time life, I do photography.
I've always loved taking pictures and capturing that perfect moment, then I decided to further my journey in photography by reaching out to a super awesome cousin. She gave some pointers and helped me get started, this is where I took off. I have now been doing photography as a side gig for almost three years, and I love it. I've participated in a town event, weddings, and more. Photography shaped me to who I am, and how I look at the world (I cannot look at a beautiful scenery and not think of how beautiful a picture would look!).
I'm excited to be a part of this challenge, and see where it takes me.

"Be True to You"
Out of fun and frustration when things weren't going well, this picture was taken. A simple pose with the wooden mannequin and a beautiful flower showed that even when things get difficult, be true to yourself and you will blossom inner peace. I had to be true to myself and find my inner peace to blossom and create something so simple yet beautiful.
