Deb Hallett

Deb Hallett is a versatile artist and entertainer, hailing from Kawartha Lakes (northeast of Toronto). She has always loved reading, and spent a lot of time with her nose buried in books growing up (often neglecting sleep or homework), so she was eager to lend her voice to an audio story for others to enjoy.

While new to the realm of audio narration, we think she's a natural storyteller - - and it's no wonder. Growing up with parents who were both accomplished performers, she has done a little of everything -- from singing, dancing, music and theatre, to visual arts and graphic design (which she does for a living).

Deb became a founding member of The Seanachai Group after her break-out performance as the computer-voice of the eponymous “Sassi”, in our audio production of Alethea Kontis' short story "Sassi's Last Ride" (aired on Starship Sofa, a sci-fi podcast).
