Hope

I wish to one day 

 Let possibility shine above 

 Like a taste of warm sunshine 

 A flower blooming at last beneath the stars 

Reaching for the star filled sky 

Petals reflecting the moon’s silver glow 

 Within them are hidden fireworks of color 

 It’s like a winter wonderland 

 A light dusting of snow, like powdered sugar 

 It almost feels unnatural.
