A major question that people have is if science and the Bible agree. They often wonder "Can I believe in science and god?" the short answer to that question is yes! Founded in January of 2022 the mission of The Science Behind The Bible is to dive into the science behind the Bible to prove how science and the Bible go hand-in-hand. About Me
Hi, I'm Taylor a Christian and Science nerd who enjoys bringing my passion for both science and the Bible together to show people just how much science and the Bible agree. My passion for science began around four years old when I became obsessed with aquariums and from then on I was hooked into the marine science world. With hopes of becoming a “sea lion trainer” with an intense passion for science I have had the opportunity to participate in some pretty cool stuff such as A research cruise/Bay exploration, A winter bird and seal cruise, A Porpoise and Gray Seal Necropsy, Attending a harbor seal release, and The Trainer For A Day Program at my local aquarium.
Our Beliefs
At The Science Behind The Bible, we believe that there are many scientific facts in the Bible. Some of our beliefs include:
Genesis 1:1-2 is the Big Bang Theory.
It is possible that Humans were created by evolution but no one is 100% sure! “God spoke: “Let us make human beings in our image, make them reflecting our nature…” (Genesis 1:27) “But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord, a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.” (2 Peter 3:8)
Humans were originally commanded to take care of the environment! “The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it.” (Genesis 2:15)
I believe climate change is real and because of Genesis 2:15, we should take care of the issue!
Many of the Bible stories can be proven true such as Jonah and the Whale.
Many real scientific facts were written in the Bible SOME EX: “All the rivers flow to the sea. But the sea never becomes full.” (Ecclesiastes 1:7) “The wind blows to the south. Then it blows to the north. It blows from one direction and then another. Then it turns around and repeats the same pattern, going nowhere.” (Ecclesiastes 1:6) And so much more…
