About the Show

The Rubberhose Realm is inspired by The Amazing Digital Circus, a show created by Glitch Productions and Gooseworx.

This show follows six characters (who were once humans in the real world) trapped in a colorful Realm called The Rubberhose Realm: Pimni, Zax, Miri, Ribbon, Regal, and Modu.

The Rubberhose Realm is controlled by Cairo, an AI ringmaster with a vintage theater spotlight for his head and a red ringmaster tailcoat. Cairo is responsible for planning adventures, welcoming new characters when they arrive in the Realm, and creating and reusing NPCs for adventures.

Even though The Rubberhose Realm is supposed to be a world full of fun, adventures, and mysteries, the cartoon characters trapped there hate their lives and are determined to find an exit to escape the Realm. However, every time someone tries to leave, Cairo teleports them back to the Realm and assures them that they are experiencing "Rubberhouse Illusions".

The characters also have to risk Corruption. Corruption is a dangerous condition in the Rubberhose Realm where a character loses their sanity and can't handle being trapped in the Realm anymore. Their mind and body begin to break apart. Their form twists and glitches, and they slowly lose control of themselves. Once fully corrupted, they become an unstable creature of the Realm and can no longer return to normal. Usually, Cairo sends corrupted characters to The Vault so they can't attack anyone in the realm anymore.

The characters go on a variety of adventures, but they are still desperate to find an exit. Will they ever find a way to leave The Rubberhouse Realm and return to the real world?
