The Rosebuds is a collective of aspiring artists rooted in Canada who seek to engage with poetry and spoken word in an inclusive and intersectionalist context. Together, we are not only working to gain mastery of this art form but also to build community in meaningful ways. Our collective operates primarily from Tiohtià:ke (Montréal) and Tkaronto (Toronto), and we recognize and respect the Abenaki, Anishnabeg, Chippewa, Haudenosauneega (St Lawrence Iroquois), Huron-Wendat, Kanien’kehá:ka, Mississaugas of the Credit, and Mohawk nations as the traditional custodians of these lands and waters.
