The Remnants was created February 2010 After the outbreak occurred. 2009 around the middle of December after we captured leader of the Chernarussian Movement of the Red Star (or "ChDKZ" or Chedaki) and the group fell apart we all started receiving strange reports of civilians attacking, biting, mauling, and killing each other we responded to the reports and tried to detain the suspects, but they would not lesson to our commands so we opened fire. Once the first four or five shots hit the suspect they turned around and charged at us and we shot it some more. It finely hit the ground after one of the soldiers bullets struck it in the head. We when to investigate it keeping our guns trained on the thing Once we got closer the stench was so bad one of the guys puked and another soldier went closer to look at it and said it's flesh is rotting along with bite marks on its arms. We radioed a report but all we got back was static. Just then we heard a explosion in the distance along with gunshots. We went to investigate only to find a few Chernarussian Defence Force guys and two Russian Armed Forces guys scared with there guns trained on us asking if we were bit or infected. We replied No and asked what was going on to which they replied with a I don't know. We went on foot to the International Airfield. It took over an hour and the sun was starting to come up. Once we arrived at the I.A. It was deserted just blood and bodies there with the so called infected or zombies eating a few corpses. A few months passed as we survived day by day we came across more survivors and decided to form a group called The Remnants for most has prior military experience prior to the outbreak of infected.
