She holds an M.Tech in Food Biotechnology from the Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai, and a B.Tech in Biotechnology from the Odisha University of Technology and Research.

Niran, hailing from Udalguri, Assam, holds a Ph.D. in Enrgy Engineering awarded by Tezpur University. He worked on Synthesis of Heterogeneous Catalyst for the Transformation of Biomass to Biofuel and Chemical in his doctoral tenure. He worked at NIT Mizoram as an Institute Postdoctoral Fellow before joining IIT Kharagpur as an Institute Postdoctoral Fellow.
In the Ψ Lab, Niran is studying Techno-enviro-economic feasibility (TeeFA) analysis of reaction-separation frameworks aiming for sustainable manufacturing of fine chemicals following a combined approach of experimental and computational analyses.

Neetu (Co-mentored by Prof. Monojit Chakraborty), hailing from Almora, Uttarakhand, holds a Ph.D. in Physics awarded by G.B.Pant University of Agriculture and Technology in collaboration with IIT Roorkee. She worked on Thermal Energy storage by Phase Change Materials in her doctoral tenure. She worked at IIT Ropar as a Senior Project Associate and IISc Bangalore as a Research Associate before joining IIT Kharagpur as an Institute Postdoctoral Fellow.
