Behind The Veil

"... who knows where she's been - but it's dark inside her head..."

For those battling demons, he has the power to overcome every last one

 The truth is, following Jesus excludes you from the 'in' crowd. We're set apart for a road less travelled on

"... Lift your hands in every circumstance, until your soul can feel it..."

When we focus on the character and attributes of God, there will always be a new song in our mouths

"... My God is holy and set apart.  

My God is jealous for my heart

Why should I hold it back?"

The scene in Isaiah 6, a spokesman for the LORD, silenced in the face of his holiness. Let's recreate this in our own times with the LORD. They're not supposed to be dreary or dull. We get to come into the presence of the holy of holies, the one no-one can compare or ever come close to. Ponder that!

"... She's still in her bed with thoughts up in her head.

She's struggling to rise..."

 Sometimes you have nothing left but a 'why?'

"...Where have you been? 

Had a dalliance with sin

Broken every vow

Still, he wants you now..."

As a follower of Christ, I've despised his bride - the church. Yet the flaws I see in her echo the flaws in me, and amazingly, the Lord still deems both beautiful! This is a call to repent and stop wandering from our biggest admirer. He laid his life down for us. Let's live in that reality
