Victoria Stoddard Peterson was born in Richmond, Virginia. She is a wife, mother, grandmother, and an award-winning National Board-certified retired teacher of 47 years. She received her Bachelor of Arts in English and Education from North Carolina Wesleyan and her Master of Science in Education from Syracuse University.
Victoria's life took a transformative turn after she retired from her teaching career in Virginia and Florida. She stumbled upon a collection of her aunt's sketches, from a 1935 art portfolio. Each was a depiction of a woman. These sketches held a unique power. Each one, a reflection of an influential woman in Victoria's life, symbolizing a quality that was pivotal in her emotional development. It was from these transformative connections that the Pillars of The Pathfinder were born.
The stories of each of these women can be found in your copy of The Pathfinder.
