Pashtun Laws

Pashtunwali is an ancient, unwritten code followed by the Pashtun people, primarily in Afghanistan and Pakistan. It governs their way of life and includes principles like hospitality (melmastia), revenge (badal), honor (namus), and justice (melmastia). It emphasizes concepts such as loyalty to one's tribe (tribal loyalty or "nang"), and adherence to this code is deeply ingrained in Pashtun culture, guiding social interactions, conflict resolution, and individual behavior.
