Quick Start Guide

If this is your first time using the extension, follow these steps:

1. Pin the Extension: Click the puzzle icon in Chrome and pin [The Memory Guy].

2. Open an LLM: Go to ChatGPT.

3. Check the Popup: Ensure your Anonymous ID is generated, you can check by clicking on the extension.

4. Start Chatting: The extension will automatically begin indexing your conversation snippets.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

1. Is my data private?

Yes. We use a randomly generated UUID. We do not collect your name, email, or any personal identifiers. Your data is stored in an encrypted vector database (Qdrant) and is only accessible via your unique browser ID and key. As well as it was proxy server validation.

2. Which LLMs are supported?

Currently, we support [ChatGPT]. We are constantly adding more.

3. How do I delete my "Memory"?

Open the extension popup and click the "Clear All Data" button. This will instantly wipe your history from our backend.

Troubleshooting

"Memory injection timed out"

• Reason: This usually happens during a "cold start" of our backend or if your internet connection is unstable.

• Solution: Simply refresh the page and try your prompt again. It should resolve within a few minutes.

"Extension icon is greyed out"

• Solution: Ensure you are on a supported website. The extension only activates when it detects an LLM interface.
