The Project

The project intends to achieve the following objectives:

- creation of a multimedia database containing information on the endemic species in danger of extinction;

- protection of the products and culture of the territory as a precious asset to be safeguarded in the era of globalization, to be proposed to other partner countries, also for tourism-business purposes;

-dissemination of a didactic model capable of affecting the reality of one's own territory;

The expected results are summarized as follows:

- improvement of linguistic-communicative skills in the four production skills e both oral and written comprehension in the languages ​​involved in the project: English, French, Spanish, Italian and Turkish;

- improvement of basic and transversal skills, divided into personal and social competences;

- improvement of computer skills encouraged by the use of computers and creation of a website edited by the students, aimed at promoting Networking with the exchange of experiences and related advertising.

In line with the indicated HORIZONTAL PRIORITY, the aforementioned objectives to be achieved concern basic and transversal skills, such as entrepreneurship, digital skills and multilingualism, using an innovative pedagogical approach, focused on learners, developing a method of evaluation and functional and appropriate certification. In every planning and implementation phase of the project will make constant use of ICT, fostering digital innovation in teaching and training of students at various levels: research work related to the cataloging of ancient cultivars in danger of extinction and its derivative products; sharing of good work practices individual and group; identification of uses, customs and traditions linked to food and their cultures; characterization of crops, environments and landscapes; history and artistic and literary representations of foods and cultures; socialization and dissemination of data. This in order to promote the use of CLIL methodology, since the training path involves several foreign countries, with whom teachers and students will necessarily have to face L2.

In line with the SECTORAL PRIORITY, academic results will be improved in the context of basic skills through a more performing teaching method. This goal will be pursued through a multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary approach, able to integrate the teaching of different basic skills (linguistic, historical-artistic, scientific, ICT) with learning based on widely perceived and shared contents: environmental recovery e territorial redevelopment-enhancement.

These PRIORITIES will be implemented in accordance with the eight competences identified by the EQF.
