The Mean Caimans are a FIRST Robotics team based out of Southwest Virginia Community College. The team originally was an FTC team called 5414 TRI Robotics. After successfully finishing the 2016-17 FTC season, we decided to transition into an FRC team. We gathered more students from different schools and regions and even states! We now have members from five different counties and two states!

Our mission is to excel in everything we do. Even though we are a rookie team, we want the best for our team members and to be able to get the full experience of FIRST. We wish to teach our students that, even though robotics is cool to be apart of, it's more than just building robots.
