Rooted in Christ, Led by the Waymaker
Launching August 2026
Mission:
The mission of The Master’s Way Academy is to disciple students through Christ-centered education, inspired by the Charlotte Mason philosophy, and to cultivate hearts and minds that love truth, pursue excellence, and walk in the way of the Master.
Vision:
The Master’s Way Academy envisions a generation of students rooted in biblical truth, equipped with strong academic skills, and built up in their faith, who will serve others and act wisely in the world—leading ethically and making a positive impact on society.
A New Kind of Christian School Is Needed Here and Now
Adults often remember school experiences such as field trips, visitors, hands-on activities, and small-group work more than specific lessons. Children naturally enjoy being outdoors and getting their hands dirty. However, most schools follow a traditional model of whole-class indoor learning, which can be difficult for neurodivergent, sensitive, or highly intelligent children. Our school aims to create an inclusive environment that offers tailored activities and flexible learning options to support all students. In addition, our children will be exposed to trades, which might open doors to satisfying careers for some of our students.
Curriculum Philosophy
Curriculum
Our school has been approved to use the Alveary curriculum. It is a comprehensive curriculum that:
Provides a 21st-century, research-backed application of Mason’s principles
It offers a 4-year rotation of history, which allows younger students to feel rooted in their place in history and lays a foundation for digging deeper when they are older (as when they rotate back to a previous year)
Literature that utilizes “living books,” especially selected for the children’s ages, while stretching them intellectually beyond their reading level through read-alouds
This model allows the whole family to have a common point of learning and a shared interest to explore together
Who Was Charlotte Mason
Charlotte Mason was an educator in England, a contemporary of Maria Montessori, who was part of the movement to provide children with a developmentally appropriate education. She did this from a Christian perspective for 40 years, training teachers and parents, publishing books and education magazines, giving talks, etc. She believed that as each child is uniquely created, each child comes with a certain personality and gifts which should be respected. In addition to promoting the child's dignity as an individual made in God's image, Mason emphasized that education is all about relationships, such as the connection between children and those who guide them, and the connections children make with the world around them, from the heritage of the past to the present, including an emphasis on outdoor life.

We believe children are uniquely created by God and do not all learn in the same way. Our approach is designed to support a wide range of learners, including:
Students who thrive academically
Students who struggle in traditional classroom settings
Students who benefit from movement, hands-on learning, or additional support
We aim to create learning environments that are flexible, engaging, and responsive to student needs.
We are committed to thoughtfully supporting students who may need additional resources or accommodations. Specific support structures will be shared as policies and staffing are finalized.
The Master’s Way Academy is built on the belief that children are not meant to sit still all day. They are meant to explore, create, move, question, and play.
Learning will be active, relational, and intentionally connected to real-world experiences—helping students see how what they learn matters and how God is present in all of it.
Updates will be shared through informational gatherings, events, and announcements as plans progress. An interest form and additional details will be available soon.
