Bagotown 2: "Hunger"

(partially found short film that aired on boomerang; 1990's - 2000's)

An advertisement created to spread awareness.

Introduction

Bagotown 2: "Hunger" is a short film that orginally aired on the Cartoon Network sister channel Boomerang between the late 1990's and early 2000's. While footage of the original airing exist only the first 38 seconds have been recovered. Thanks to The Local Cardinal we know the director's name is Ethan and even though we have the directors name there is no mention of any cast members (if there are any). Besides a brief description of the plot and the previously mentioned 38 second clip nothing else is known the main prevailing theory is that the film was made by a single person.

Plot

The plot for Bagotown 2 can only be speculated but is generally agreed upon, the short film follows Bago (purple and green), Gango (trapezoid with mustache) and Capybara while they try to figure out what to eat for dinner. While having the moniker of being the 2nd film nothing is known about the 1st Bagotown if there even is one.

Availability

The only existing footage of the film is from a VHS recording of the original broadcast posted anonymously to 4chan (a reuploaded verson can be found in the gallery section). Bagotown 2 aired on The Cartoon Network's sister channel Boomerang in the late 1990's and early 2000's as a Boomrang theater presentation, very similar in concept to Cartoon Network "Groovies".  The VHS recording only shows 38 seconds of the film before being interrupted by a tornado warning  for muiltple towns in Virginia/West Virgnia. Even though the film was aired on boomerang no other reports or footage has emierged besides this recording.
