The Loose Caboose

Originally in Litchfield Illinois just off of Interstate 55 in the old train station, this great little shoppe in the traditional sense, became a regular whistle stop for antiquers from all over the country and a valued local resource.  Mary Jo's selection of new and collectible small items moved to Donnnellson on Rt. 127, a nice scenic "loop" route from I-55 down to I-70.  Donnellson was a favorite stop for people from all over the country.. to visit the studio of Artist, Carson Donnell.  You can find his story in a book sold at the Loose Caboose.

For the serious Antique buyers, Mary Jo keeps another small building to rummage through for Antique furniture.

The proprietor, Mary Jo, is a retired manager who has traveled extensively and made a personal study of decor.  If you don't find something fascinating, it's because you're involved in a great conversation with this lady behind the counter.
