The word "Loo" in England refers to the bathroom. The original owners and builders of the "Loo with a View" traveled extensively and spent quite a bit of time in England. When they built the property they were trying to come up with a name and "The Loo with a View" was chosen because that is exactly what is atop the tower you see in the picture. Two bathrooms, a man's and ladies room, and from up there you can see far and wide. Hence the name.
