After spending many years in offline sales and marketing, my journey into the world of digital marketing began back in 2011. It was very much like the Wild Wild West back then, and there were many cowboys taking advantage of loopholes in Googles Search Algorithm.
Learning SEO by building my own affiliate sites, I quickly got to grips with the basics and began ranking websites within 6 months of starting out. This eventually let me to providing SEO services for SME's where I build a small brand for myself as a reliable SEO provider. After 5 years of operating independently, my skills had advanced way beyond the scope of just ranking in Google and I was getting head hunted by many recruiters, who where offering the chance to work in the corporate world. I spent the next 2 years working for some of the biggest outdoor sporting brands in the UK, managing all online acquisition channels. Currently, I head up the SEO department for a digital marketing and web design agency, managing a team of SEO professionals and many different clients.
