It is recommended to pre-wash your fabric base materials to pre-shrink and remove chemicals that will inhibit adhesion of the vinyl.
Open your package from The Lioness Den and retrieve your Iron-on vinyl patch with your design on it.
Pre-heat your heat press or household iron. Make sure you have a hard and smooth surface underneath your desired material for smooth application.
a. If using a household iron, use the Cotton/Linen setting (generally the highest temperature setting). Make sure the steam setting is OFF. Once your iron is ready, preheat the application area of your base material for 10-15 seconds.
Place your vinyl design, shiny side UP (the design will display exactly as intended, without being flipped or reversed), onto the desired application area.
Apply medium pressure with the iron/press directly over the center of the design for 25-30 seconds. Try to distribute heat equally as much as you can.
Flip the material over to the opposite side, and apply medium pressure with the iron to the back of the material for an additional 25-30 seconds.
Flip the design over to the front and slowly remove the clear liner when cool to the touch.
a. If the vinyl starts to peel away with the clear liner, return the liner to its position and add heat to that area for a few seconds. Wait for it to cool and try again.
Caring for your vinyl:
Allow 24 hours after application before washing
Wash and tumble dry inside-out
Do not bleach
Hand wash for the longest lasting results.
Use a Soft Sponge when washing.
Do Not Soak.
Pat with a towel to dry.
Avoid putting the cup in the microwave.
Your car sticker will arrive to you with a layer of transfer tape on it. This will help you lay and transfer the decal onto your window.
Find the desired area for your decal on the outside of your car. Decals can go on windows, bumpers, etc.
Clean the outside of the window/bumper with a glass cleaner.
Lay your decal flat on the area with the transfer tape still on. Use a straight and hard tool like a ruler to push out air bubbles to ensure that the decal and transfer tape lie flat.
Grab a corner of the transfer tape and peel it slowly and gently away from the decal.
You're all done, and your decal will be stuck to your car!
