The Director

Michael Meyers is the director of the Learning Commons. He formally worked in the Mathematics Assistance Center as a Finite Math Director for 4 years. He has a degree from IUPUI in Finance, and has a huge passion for teaching and mentoring. After graduating, he went to work in the finance and statistics industry for some time. His favorite part of being an LC Director is building strong relationships with students, having fun, and training them in pedagogy, culture, and math content.

Outside of Cathedral, Mr. Meyers enjoys collecting and playing all types of games. He finds it fun to GM for a Dungeons&Dragons campaign, play Settlers of Catan, try to get his head around Chess, or playing other competitive games like Valorant or Street Fighter. He also enjoys Virtual Reality Experiences. Most importantly, though, he loves spending time with his family, friends, his two cats, and dog.
