Terms and Conditions
The services provided by The Laundry Lady are subject to your compliance with and acceptance of the terms and conditions set forth below. Your use of The Laundry Lady services indicates your agreement to be bound by the terms and conditions contained herein.
Payment
The customer must complete payment of the agreed upon charges on or before the completion of the Services. Payments for drop-off and pickup should be made before or when driver pickup laundry. All payments are non-refundable.
Inventory
Laundry Express is not responsible for any items not listed on the Request Form. The Customer agrees to be bound by the content of the Request Form.
Garment Care
The Laundry Lady will use reasonable efforts to maintain a high-quality cleaning service. The Laundry Lady accepts no liability for damage due to normal cleaning of items with or without care instructions, which are requested to be laundered by the Customer. Laundry Lady accepts no liability for special care items that require special attention. The Laundry Lady is not responsible for clothing bleeding, shrinking, or otherwise changing as a result of normal cleaning procedures. The Laundry Lady reserves the right to refuse to clean any garment. The Laundry Lady does not guarantee the removal of all stains. The Laundry Lady is not responsible for loss of or damage to any personal or non-cleanable items left in the clothing or laundry bags such as money, jewelry, or any other item. The customer agrees not to leave such items in their clothing or in their laundry bags. Zippers behave unpredictably while cleaning. The Customer is notified that there is a possibility of zipper issues while following normal cleaning procedures, and The Laundry Lady does not accept any liability for such issues.
Loss or Damage
Missing or damaged items must be reported to The Laundry Lady within 24 hours of delivery of your garments/linen. Failure to report the missing or damaged item within 24 hours shall remove any liability of The Laundry Lady for the missing or damaged item. The Laundry Lady will use reasonable efforts to try to ensure that washing, drying, and folding services are maintained at a high level of quality. The Laundry Lady is not liable for any preexisting damage to a garment or other item and reserves the right to return any item without cleaning it if any preexisting damage is found or if we have a concern about the colorfastness or the age or weakness of the fabric.
Uncollected Items
The Laundry Lady reserves the right to dispose of any items not collected within 30 days of the date stated on the Request Form. The Laundry Lady shall have no liability whatsoever in respect of items disposed of pursuant to this clause.
Use of Third-Party Service Providers
The Laundry Lady reserves the right to utilize any outsourcer, vendor, or outside service provider for any service, without notice to the customer.
Pick-up and Delivery Scheduling
The Laundry Lady will do our best to pick-up your laundry at the agreed upon time. We know that we won't have very many customers if we are late. That being said, we can't be held accountable if we are late for unforeseen circumstances. Similarly, we hope that you will strive to be on-time for our deliveries. If you do miss a pick-up or delivery, we will try to coordinate an alternate time as soon as possible.
To prevent laundry errors, all services must be tied to an appointment. If we are coming to your house for a delivery and you have additional dirty laundry that you would like to be picked up, please schedule an additional pickup or notify us at least 1 hour before your scheduled service. Please note that pick up and drop fee will vary based on location provided.
A No Show is when we show up to your door, but you and your laundry aren't around. In the case of a No Show, we reserve the right to charge a No-Show fee. Keep in mind, there's no fee if you cancel or reschedule more than 2 hours before the start of your delivery window.
Unattended Pick-up and Delivery
If you request that we leave your laundry unattended (e.g., on your porch, in a hallway, or in your foyer) or with a third party (e.g., with a doorman or a neighbor), we are not responsible for your laundry before we have picked it up or after we have dropped it off.
