you spoil us, man. i'm so excited for this. this is the best late christmas gift/new years gift so far. i'm definitely downloading this and playing it on my new computer. thank you so much, alex. this is going to be a blast to play.

we start the game as a random stranger, maybe one of john's neighbours. We can't be john because he hunts us a bit later on in the basement, and we can't be the kid because the newspaper on the ground shows us the family murder has already happened, and therefore the kid is dead at the hands of john being puppeteered by garfield. The perspective switches again when we throw the relic in the oven, and we switch to John. Now, you might be confused because the scene has the player doing child's errands for garfield, but we know that the relationship between john and garfield is one where garfield belittles John. Treating him like a child would fit his character. The next transition is after John cuts the phone line, silences the dog and enters the house, where we switch to the child, at the scene of the family murder. When the child gets out of bed we hear gunshots, and the child goes to hide in their closet. John catches them and presumably kills them. By this, we can also form a narrative:

It is the story of Robin and Diana Cavendish (played by Andrew Garfield and Claire Foy), who meet in 1957 and soon marry. Robin is a tea broker and so they travel to Kenya for his work, enjoying a happy and loving life together. It is when Diana is pregnant with their first child, that Robin contracts polio, which results in the devastating news that he will be permanently paralysed from the neck down. He can only last two minutes at most off an external ventilator and doctors give him mere months to live.

As many people know, Memorial Day is an American holiday that is observed on the last Monday of May, and honors the men and women who sacrificed their lives while serving in the U.S. military. But how did this holiday originate? Continue reading to find out!

For decades, Memorial Day continued to be observed on May 30th, the date General Logan had selected for the first Decoration Day. But in 1968, Congress passed the Uniform Monday Holiday Act, which established Memorial Day as the last Monday in May in order to create a three-day weekend for federal employees. The change went into effect in 1971. The same law also declared Memorial Day a federal holiday.

This last weekend, Twitter user @JamColley posted a unique theory as to why Garfield hates Mondays, positing that as cats don't have jobs the only real difference between Monday and other days of the week for the feline is that his human, Jon, probably leaves to go to work and Garfield is too proud to admit that he loves and misses Jon when he leaves, instead masking that emotion by professing to hate Mondays.

ok. so i am slightly biased, however you are correct that it bothers you too much. the "thing" was that people used to READ NEWSPAPERS instead of the internet on monday mornings and think "yeah, mondays suck." and thus people felt that they too were normal. and if you look back at all the things that have happened to garfield on mondays you could see why he hates mondays.

also why are you upset that he hates mondays, but are ok that he kicks puppies, eats lasagna, and is friends with mice?

@matthew because everyone is sharing those feelings. it's that everyone experiences this. you get up on monday and have to go to work (most don't like this), he gets up on monday and his liter box changer, personal chef, and back scratcher has left for what must seem an eternity to him. and online publishing hasn't changed weekends, it's that online publishing has changed the concept of reading the newspaper and the enjoyment of the comics page. it used to be that the monday morning newspaper was the start of the work week. now news is a whenever you can google it thing

@BillLehecka BOOOO!!! you need to update yourself.i haven't met a human yet that doesn't talk to their pet regardless of cat, dog, fish, gerbal, snake, imaginary, real, or somewhere in between. also jon has been in a relationship with liz (the vet) for over a year now. liz has put garfield on diets, and decided that they were unhealthy for garfield (see the thanksgiving special for details). and odie isn't mental, he is just one that has better priorities than to worry about crap that can't be changed. also nermal might need to go to abu dhabi to find his origins.

@BillLehecka Have you seen the website garfield minus garfield?

Garfield Minus Garfield is a site dedicated to removing Garfield from the Garfield comic strips in order to reveal the existential angst of a certain young Mr. Jon Arbuckle. It is a journey deep into the mind of an isolated young everyman as he fights a losing battle against loneliness and depression in a quiet American suburb.

This is the last Monday I have to work. I retire next week and next Monday is MLK Day, so yesterday was the last Sunday that I have to throw my friends out at a reasonable hour so I can get up before dawn on Monday and drag my lazy butt to work!

Undergarf is where the characters of Garfield and Undertale combine. It's a carefree place, free of war and strife. Free of mondays! You play as Nermal, who stumbles upon this world and challenges Sansfield, the fusion of Sans and Garfield, to the ultimate duel.

And now consider this silent assembly of the dead. What does it represent? Nay, rather, what does it not represent? It is an epitome of the war. Here are sheaves reaped in the harvest of death, from every battlefield of Virginia. If each grave had a voice to tell us what its silent tenant last saw and heard on earth, we might stand, with uncovered heads, and hear the whole story of the war. We should hear that one perished when the first great drops of the crimson shower began to fall, when the darkness of that first disaster at Manassas fell like an eclipse on the Nation; that another died of disease while wearily waiting for winter to end; that this one fell on the field, in sight of the spires of Richmond, little dreaming that the flag must be carried through three more years of blood before it should be planted in that citadel of treason; and that one fell when the tide of war had swept us back till the roar of rebel guns shook the dome of yonder Capitol, and re-echoed in the chambers of the Executive Mansion. We should hear mingled voices from the Rappahannock, the Rapidan, the Chickahominy, and the James; solemn voices from the Wilderness, and triumphant shouts from the Shenandoah, from Petersburg, and the Five Forks, mingled with the wild acclaim of victory and the sweet chorus of returning peace. The voices of these dead will forever fill the land like holy benedictions.

In March 1978, United Feature Syndicate accepted the strip for national distribution (which had been retitled Garfield on September 1, 1977), and the last Pendleton Times strip ran on March 2, 1978. United Feature Syndicate debuted the strip nationwide debut in 41 newspapers, starting on June 19, 1978. After a test run, the Chicago Sun-Times dropped the Garfield strip, only to reinstate it after readers' complaints.[1][8]

Gags in the strips commonly deal with Garfield's obesity (in one strip, Jon jokes: "I wouldn't say Garfield is fat, but the last time he got on a Ferris wheel, the two guys on top starved to death")[69] and his disdain of any form of exertion or work. He is known for saying "breathing is exercise".

The village also will resurface 10 streets and two parking lots this summer (see sidebar) at a cost of almost $720,000. The resurfacing budget was only $615,000, but the Garfield project came in $557,000 under budget, Trustee Neale Byrnes said at last week's Hinsdale Village Board meeting.

PFC Langhorn radioed for help and provided covering fire for his wounded comrades while waiting for support from a gunship, when an enemy hand grenade landed in front of him. He threw himself on the grenade, absorbing the blast that killed him, but saved the lives of his comrades.

The monument was moved to Garfield Park in 1928, at a time when the Ku Klux Klan was active in the state, by public officials who sought to make the monument more visible to the public," according to a news release issued last week by the city of Indianapolis.

The first occurrence of players hitting multiple home runs in the same game happened last Monday. Eastern Christian senior Ben Boonstra went deep twice and drove in three, but Garfield 3B Edwin Tavarez did him one better with two homers and four RBI, powering the Boilermakers to an 11-4 win.

Midland Park (6-5) posted its third win over a Top 25 team when senior Jake Kavanagh (2-1) threw a four-hitter in a 5-2 win at Park Ridge last Monday. Kavanagh (1.33 ERA) and senior Trey Fracassini (3-0, 0.93 ERA) are a big reason the Panthers are 5-2 in the NJIC Patriot, one game behind rival Waldwick. The next-door neighbors are scheduled to square off Wednesday at Yogi Berra Stadium in Little Falls.
