Effective October 17, 2026
The Interceptors is a VR game for Meta Quest made by Racc&Co ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the game uses, why, and the choices you have.
THE SHORT VERSION
Your progress (ore, tools, builds, settings) is saved on your headset, not on our servers.
- When you play online, your name, your monkey's movements, your builds and your voice go live to the other players in your room through Photon's game servers. We don't record or keep your voice.
- Meta checks that you own the game. We only learn yes or no.
- No ads, no ad tracking, and we never sell your information.
WHAT THE GAME USES
Your display name: shown on your name tag and the room computer so other players know who you are. Saved on your headset and sent to players in your room while you're online.
- Head and hand positions, your monkey's face and hat, the tool in your hand and which map you're on: sent live to players in your room through Photon so they see your monkey move. Not stored after you leave.
- Your plot build and your interceptor's position: sent live to players in your room through Photon. Your build itself is saved on your headset.
- Voice (only while your mic is on and you're online): streamed live through Photon Voice to players in your room for proximity voice chat. We don't record, store or listen to it.
- Game progress (ore, tools, upgrades, quests, hat colour, settings): saved only on your headset.
- Meta ownership check: handled by Meta because store games must confirm you own them. We only receive whether the check passed.
- Network connection details such as your IP address: processed by Photon to connect you to a game server.
SERVICES WE USE
These companies handle part of the game for us and have their own privacy policies:
Photon (Exit Games) runs the online rooms and voice chat: https://www.photonengine.com/privacy
- Meta runs the store, the ownership check and the Report button: https://www.meta.com/legal/privacy-policy/
- Unity is the engine the game is built with and may collect basic technical data: https://unity.com/legal/privacy-policy
REPORTS AND SAFETY
To report another player, press the Meta button on your controller and choose Report. Meta passes the report to us and we use it only to look into the problem and act on it. To stop hearing someone right away, go to the room computer in Plot Town, press PLAYERS, then press that player's number to mute them.
YOUR CHOICES
Mic: press MIC on the room computer to turn voice chat off or on. Your choice is remembered.
- Name: change it any time with NAME on the room computer. Don't use your real name.
- Mute: mute any player with PLAYERS on the room computer.
- Your saved data: uninstalling the game removes your progress and builds from your headset.
AGES
The Interceptors is for teens and adults (13 and over). It isn't directed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect information from them. If you think a child under 13 is using the game, contact us and we'll help.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
If the game starts using information in a new way, we'll update this page and change the effective date at the top.
