About the Author

Raised in southeastern Pennsylvania, Josh Burkhart has formed his love of baseball over many years of joy and heartbreak watching his beloved Phillies. Frequent trips to Reading (now Fightin') Phillies to take in the future of his favorite team was a staple of his childhood. While he will always have 2008, it can be tough cheering on one team that typically finds a way to break your heart. There is not many better feelings than going to the ballpark with the family and relaxing in the atmosphere that a baseball game brings with a brew and a dog.

They say those that can't play will coach, and those that can't coach will write...so that is why Josh has begun this adventure into writing about baseball. With a growing family and a joy of the game, Josh hopes to showcase that joy in his writing and spread it to those who read.
