Saturday, September 13th at Cornucpia Farms in Scottsburg, Indiana
THE TEAMS
Each team will consist of a maximum of 15 people. All participants must sign a waiver of liability. Each team fundraises/donates at least $750 to compete. The team can raise money through hosting fundraisers, individual pledges, corporate or union sponsorships. Trophies are given for the top fundraising team and individual. Each Team member will get an official Great Combine Pull t-shirt, but only guaranteed if registration is completed by August 1st. Each team is encouraged to have a team theme, and also a team intro song to get revved up before each pull.
THE GREAT COMBINE PULL - FASTEST
Team members will line up on the rope attached to the combine. The official starter will signal when to start the pull. After the team pulls the combine 10 feet, or five (5) minutes has elapsed, the stopwatch will stop. Elapsed time will be recorded as the team score. The team that completes this task in the least amount of time wins the “Fastest Team Pull” trophy.
THE MULE TEAM CHALLENGE - LOWEST COMBINED WEIGHT
See how many teammates it takes to pull the combine! Start with one or two. Continue to add teammates until your team pulls the combine the distance of 5 feet, you’ve only got five minutes. At the end of your pull, the weight of those teammates pulling the truck will be added together. Each team receive one (1) attempt. The team pulling the fire truck with the least amount of team weight will claim the “Mule Team Challenge” trophy. Times are recorded in case of a tie.
