Meet the chef

Hamid ("Tony"), owner and chef of The Good Stuff Food Truck.

Hamid, aka "Tony", has been a fixture in Sherman for the last ten years. He was the owner and chef at The Blue Door Cafe during its last incarnation, and he became well known for his authentic, made from scratch Mediterranean cuisine. Having travelled the world for many years before settling here in Texas, he is familiar with dishes and styles of cooking from the Middle East, Italy, Greece, and a variety of other regions.

Now, he has scaled back a little, and built his own food truck -- yes, he built it himself! Even though he can not have all the different dishes he loves to cook on his menu every day, many of the past favorites will make an appearance at different times. Be on the lookout for specials, such as Persian eggplant and beef, shrimp fra diavolo, Moroccan fish, and one of his approximately 40 soups that he makes from scratch!
