God's Eye is a free, open-source real-time global intelligence dashboard. It aggregates publicly available data across geopolitics, military activity, conflicts, infrastructure, financial markets, aviation, maritime, seismology, and more — presented in a unified situational awareness interface.
The source code is publicly available under the GNU Affero General Public License v3 (AGPL v3). Anyone can inspect, audit, or self-host this application.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.
When you sign in, we collect:
Name and email address (from your Google account or registration form)
Profile picture URL (from Google, if you use Google Sign-In)
A unique user ID generated by our authentication provider (Supabase)
This is used solely to authenticate you and associate your preferences with your account.
God's Eye includes optional AI features:
World Brief / AI Summaries — can run locally on your device using Ollama or LM Studio. No data is sent to any server in this mode.
Headline Memory (RAG) — an opt-in feature that stores up to 5,000 headline embeddings in your browser's local IndexedDB. This data never leaves your device.
Threat Classification — runs a keyword classifier and optional browser-based ML model locally. No personal data is involved.
When cloud AI providers (Groq, OpenRouter) are used as fallback, only the content of news headlines — not your personal data — is sent.
We do not collect analytics, telemetry, crash reports, or behavioral tracking data.
We do not collect device identifiers, advertising IDs, or hardware information.
We do not request or collect your device's GPS location. Map interactions are processed entirely client-side.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for advertising or marketing.
All intelligence data displayed in God's Eye (conflict events, market prices, flight tracks, vessel positions, earthquake data, news headlines, etc.) is sourced from publicly available APIs and open datasets. This data contains no personal information about the user.
Key public data sources include: ACLED, FRED (Federal Reserve), NASA FIRMS, UCDP, ADS-B flight data, AIS maritime data, and 435+ public RSS news feeds. A full list is available in the source code repository.

Your authentication session is stored locally on your device in secure storage.
Account data (email, name) is stored in Supabase's hosted database, encrypted at rest and in transit (TLS).
AI Headline Memory is stored entirely on your device in IndexedDB and is never transmitted.
We do not process or store payment information. The App is free.
Because God's Eye is open source (AGPL v3), you can verify everything stated in this policy by reviewing the source code at github.com/koala73/worldmonitor. There are no hidden data collection mechanisms.
Your account data is retained as long as your account is active.
You may request deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing us (see Section 10). Deletion requests are processed within 30 days.
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
Access the personal data we hold about you
Correct inaccurate data
Delete your account and associated data
Withdraw consent at any time by signing out and uninstalling the app
